SUMMARY
The Pill Server markets a revolutionary innovative technology that restricts access of prescription pills to the appropriate time and amount for a given dosage. By doing so, the problems of underdosing (taking too little of a dosage) or overdosing (taking too much of a dosage) will be targeted through maintaining constancy of dosage levels at the consumer level.
OBJECTIVES & PROGRESS
Pill Server's main objectives are:
- create a final prototype (based on schematics by the R&D and Product Design teams)
- provide a test phase of the product in the market
- collect data on the under and over dosing issue in Connecticut
Of these three objectives, the company has accomplished the first and final points, along with conducting a feasibility analysis through the demand and predicted efficacy of the product in the afflicted areas.
COMPETITORS
Competition exists in the industry in the form of pill bottles that offer personalized accessibility. However, these new pill bottles only target the overdosing community, and not the under.

Pill Server offers a new perspective on pill restriction by only allowing pharmacists to access the medication. Only the medical professional can electronically approve the product to dispense extra pills.
