COMPETITOR ANALYSIS
JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY

Four alumni of Johns Hopkins University designed the above pill dispenser to fight overdosing. The device is tamper-resistant, and uses fingerprint identification to allow the doses to be released, and will not release more than the appropriate dose per every time frame.
GROUP MEDICAL SUPPLY (GMS) LLC.

GMS has designed a pill dispenser that can last up to 28 days. This device is tamper-proof, made of a sturdy material, and like Pill Server, sounds an alarm when the medication is not taken at the proper time.
HOW IS PILL SERVER DIFFERENT?
Our product is a tamper-proof pill dispenser that works on a timer system. Unlike the above product, our device gives out pills at a preset time, rather than relying on the memory of the patient, and also alerts others should the medication not be taken at the proper time.
